Es una Cruz de flores, y adornada con los enseres m\u00e1s queridos. Se colocan las redes de pesca, los remos el salvavidas, las im\u00e1genes de la Virgen del Carmen, la Virgen del Gran Poder y el Chiquito, como popularmente se conoce al Cristo de la Misericordia.  Se engalana con mantones de manila, y adornos de cobre.  Esto se hace al aire libre y se acompa\u00f1a con una verbena para el disfrute de los vecinos y visitantes.<br \/>\nSe celebrar\u00e1 los d\u00edas 3 y 4 de Mayo, junto a la entrada del mercado del Carmen por calle la Serna.<br \/>\n<!--more-->Se servir\u00e1n refrescos, tapas y platos t\u00edpicos.<br \/>\nTendremos m\u00fasica y actuaciones, bailes y atracciones infantiles.  Comenzar\u00e1 la ma\u00f1ana del s\u00e1bado d\u00eda 3 y finalizar\u00e1 a las 5 de la tarde del domingo d\u00eda 4.<br \/>\nLa Cruz de Mayo en el Perchel es uno de los pilares m\u00e1s importantes con lo que cuenta esta Delegaci\u00f3n en M\u00e1laga para conseguir parte de los ingresos, para afrontar los proyectos que asumimos cada a\u00f1o. En 2008 se destinar\u00e1n los beneficios a la canalizaci\u00f3n y abastecimiento de agua del pozo en Gayne  que ya construimos el pasado a\u00f1o.  Gracias a la colaboraci\u00f3n de los asistentes y colaboradores.<br \/>\nDesde estas l\u00edneas queremos agradecer la colaboraci\u00f3n prestada por la Cofrad\u00eda de la Misericordia, Archicofrad\u00eda del Carmen.
